Type: Webinar
Date: May 2013

This webinar was recorded on May 8, 2013

About This Webinar

As STD and other public health programs look to Medicaid and other third-party billing for program sustainability, they face unique challenges. Policy and systems barriers, resource and capacity limitations, varying levels of leadership and staff buy-in, and concerns about billing for public health services often pose obstacles to implementation of billing in a public health setting. This webinar presents examples of state and local public health programs that have overcome these challenges. Participants will hear ideas for building support for third-party billing and developing systems for implementation.
