Structure

Cardea is a non-profit organization established in 1977. We have three offices located in Oakland, California; Austin, Texas; and Seattle, Washington. Corporate fiscal management and operations systems are based in Oakland. Each office has expert staff who has developed strong, collaborative relationships at the national, regional, state and local levels, allowing us to efficiently manage and assemble dynamic teams for new initiatives.

We have extensive experience providing training, organizational development, and research and evaluation services to health and human services agencies. We routinely manage national projects as well as working with over 19 states and jurisdictions in U.S. Public Health Service (USPHS) Region VI (Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas), Region IX (Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Pacific Jurisdictions) and Region X (Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, Washington). Given technological advances, staff often collaborate across offices so that we can create the strongest possible teams to address project goals and activities.
